Dredge “Ruby K”. Newly constructed to the highest standards and commissioned June 2001, this state of the art dredge features the latest computer operated GPS hydrographic dredge monitoring system, environmental safeguards wherein all fuel & oil refilling points are contained within the hulls eliminating spillage. Oil level and pressure alarms for rapid alert of oil leakage.
Oil dispersant spray and absorption materials are carried on board.
Sound proofed engine room minimises noise emissions. Air conditioned cabin.

Recently had complete refit to the same specifications as Ruby K.
Booster Station
Skid mounted, enclosed and soundproofed, 855NTA Cummins Engine driving an 8/6 Metso Pump.
Work capabilities:
The dredge requires a minimum dredging depth of 1.2m, and dredges to a maximum depth of 8.0m.
Materials suitable to be dredged range from fine silts to sand and gravel.
Maximum pump distance for the dredge (without booster pumps) is 1200m in sand & silt.
Dredge output varies with material type and distance pumped.
